work weeks were not worth the price of spending so much time away from his family.  As a result of this
self-introspection, Proctor made the decision to resign from his job and take a six-month sabbatical to
write Seasoned Rookie, a novel that is part fiction, part autobiography, and part fantasy.  The project,
which successfully reacquainted him with his wife and young daughter, also moved the enchanting
story of Rain Henry from the caverns of his mind onto the paper canvasses of Seasoned Rookie.

With his first novel completed, Proctor, who says he first came up with the basic concept for Seasoned
Rookie in his teens, relocated his family to Charleston, South Carolina.  By day, he works as a
senior-level pharmaceutical sales representative for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.  By night
and on the weekends, he serves as the Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of The
Charleston Miracle League.
